Camp Brook Common, Hanover, New Hampshire
Dartmouth College constructed the Camp Brook Common community in order to meet the growing housing need, just north of the College campus.
Camp Brook Common contains twenty-three units of single-family, cost-controlled housing. We sited the community around a central open green space and park area. Additionally, as part of the utilities systems' upgrade process, we were able to create a walking trail from the Common to nearby Richmond Middle and Bernice A. Ray Schools for families to enjoy year-round. The project required stormwater management, water system upgrades and sewer access over an abutting property, as well as permitting assistance.
Today the Common provides a natural housing setting for the Dartmouth community.
